Some often asked questions

How long can I have the Cascade at my function ?
For an attended function we allow for 4 hours running time in the standard package,
which is usually more than enough for most functions. Additional time is negotiable.
Where a Small-Cascade is hired unattended the period of hire is 24hrs.

What sort of chocolate is it ?
Belgian chocolate, you can choose Dark, Milk or White. Other flavours are
possible.

What can be used for dips ?
Popular items are strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, grapes, profiteroles,
doughnuts, biscuits. It must be things that don’t crumble or upset the flow
of the chocolate .

Who provides dips ?
At larger functions most people don’t want the hassle of having to bring their
own dips, so we can provide them for you. You may bring your own suitable items
and we will happily display and manage them for you.
Where a Small-Cascade is hired unattended a pack of marshmallows (100pcs approx.)
is provided, then you provide your own additional dips.

What do we need to provide ?
The “Cascade of Chocolate” weighs approx. 45kg when full so a sturdy
level table is a must, if not level it will not flow. Your location should
provide linen to coordinate with your scheme, and ensure a power supply
is available. The Small-Cascade will sit on a kitchen bench or small table.

Can we use it outdoors ?
Yes in a marquee, no to out in the open. Air temperature is an important
factor in the chocolate flow consistency, and slight breezes will blow the
chocolate off course. Finally, flies love the sweet smell.

How many people can use it ?
Unlimited really (we just keep adding more chocolate !), but you may want to
consider a second machine with a guest count over 300 (large Cascade) or
60 (Small-Cascade) to avoid excessive waiting time for your guests.
